Kuza Talanta Tournament (KTT) is an annual event organized by the local community members of lower Kiteng’ei sub-location, parts of Masongaleni sub location (Athi-Salama, and Yikitaa Villages), and Kathekani Sub-location (Mikomani and Riverside) in Kibwezi East Constituency, Makueni County. Its main objective is to nurture sport talents of the young people and help build their career in this area.  The forum also brings together members of the community to discuss and find solutions to issues affecting them within the area. Kuza Talanta mtaani is in its fourth year after the idea was started by a few members back in 2019.  One of our guest speakers speaking to players during the December 2022 tournament rewarding exercise TheTournament has grown from hosting four (4) football clubs to nineteen (19) football clubs both for male and female. Sabastian defied all odds to earn a bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Chuka University, a feat made even more remarkable considering his challenging beginnings. Born into poverty and a victim of parental divorce during his early childhood, Sabastian faced hardships that could have easily derailed his dreams. As the sixth born in a family of seven children, he, along with his siblings and mother, experienced rejection from their extended family, forcing them to seek refuge with his maternal grandmother. Francis Mwania Mulwa, the esteemed MCA of Mtito-Andei ward, spearheaded the grand inauguration of the long-awaited Kilumilo water project. This initiative, which had been in the works for over five years, finally came to fruition, bringing immeasurable joy to the residents of Kilumilo and its neighboring villages, including Kavungwa and Yikisaya.
