For a long period of time, the Kenyan press and broadcast media has ignored Kalonzos’ ability to make to the statehouse; saying that the presidential race is only between two horses: the deputy president, Dr. William Samoei Ruto, and the former prime minister, Raila Amollo Odinga.
Unfortunately, a dramatic turn of events was witnessed on Friday 28th, January, 2022 at Unoa playgrounds Wote Makueni County; when the wiper party leader, who is also the presidential candidate for the One Kenya Alliance team was accorded an heroic welcome by residents of Makueni county. The leader who had declared a three-day campaign within the three Kamba counties was met by a mammoth crowd that filled the almost three-acre pitch of Unoa to capacity, with some people who could not get a space in the field being forced to stand on the roads alongside Unoa Playgrounds. This was a clear indication that the race had changed from a two-horse race to a three-horse race, with the third horse being the most dangerous!


The residents of Makueni county congratulated Dr. Stephene Kalonzo Musyoka for his act of firmness and determination, that he showed last week on Sunday 23rd, January,2022 at Bomas of Kenya when he was called to surrender unto the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) team like his allies: the Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi and the FORD Kenya leader Moses Masika Wetangula did. The residents further told Dr.Stephene Kalonzo Musyoka that, his act of moving out of the Bomas of Kenya ANC meeting was a clear indication that he is ready to defend the Kamba people, and the Kenyans at large against mistreatment by the rich, and promised their unwavering support unto him.

Inside the brigade was; the prominent businessman, Jimmy Wanjigi, the super senator Hon. Mutula Kilonzo Jnr, The Makueni constituency MP, Hon. Maanzo, The Kibwezi East MP, Hon. Jessica Mbalu, The MCA Mtito-Andei, Hon. Francis Mulwa, the Makueni County Women representative, Hon. Rose Museo, Nominated MCA Hon. Mbula Mutula and many more wiper leaders from Makueni, Kitui and Machakos county.

Speaking on the occasion, Makueni county super senator, Hon. Mutula Kilonzo Jnr who is currently aspiring the gubernatorial seat for Makueni county, confidently assured the public that; Dr. Stephene Kalonzo Musyoka will neither surrender to the Azimio La Umoja nor the United Democratic Alliance. Mutula said that, One Kenya Alliance is the only hope for Kenyans, and that their leader Dr. Stephene Kalonzo Musyoka would move all the way to the ballot, since they are fully convinced that Kenyans will vote for him come on 9th, august, 2022 thus granting him the ticket of winning.

Addressing the congregation, the OKA presidential candidate Dr. Stephene Kalonzo Musyoka said that he is not moved by his allies: ANC party leader, Musalia Mudavadi and the FORD kenya party leader Moses Wetang’ulas’ decision of joining UDA, and that their action of denial strengthened OKA more as it also gave him a greater position to becoming the fifth president of the republic of Kenya. In his speech also, Kalonzo urged Kenyans to vote him as the next president come on 9th,august,2022 since he is the only candidate with the best plans for Kenya. Amongst Kalonzos’ good plans for Kenya include: turning kenya into a 24hr economy, fighting corruption, ending the problem of unemployment, improving the transport sector, improving the health sector as well as curbing the overwhelming levels of foreign debts through good governance that his government will establish if elected.
