Living the modern life, In modern houses

Is not a dream of everyone to live in a decent house? To drive the best car ever? To tour different places and have a happy family? Then if that is not the case with you, your dreams must be examined; for you cannot have a dream that does not scare you.

Of course I am sure that majority of us have dreams of having the best houses, flats, mansions and maisonettes ever; but do you know that a house, a flat, a mansion and a maisonette without appropriate interior designs and fittings is not worthy being called a flat, a mansion or a maisonette? Incase you did not know, now you know.

Today I want us to discuss much about the different types of ceilings that you need in order to make your house, church, flat, mansion maisonette and hotel decent as well as as the best companies to contract when it comes to interior designs and fittings.

JOSETEKS INTERIOR DESIGNS LTD COMPANY is one of the most recent companies in Kenya which is leading in providing the most decent ceilings construction services as discussed here below.

 1.Conventional ceiling

This type of ceiling construction is mostly found in homes. It has a standard drywall finish and it is made of lower-cost materials. Conventional ceilings are plain and flat. They are usually between 8 to 9 feet high and can fit with typical construction material sizing.

2. suspended ceiling

Also referred to as dropped ceiling. This type of ceiling construction hangs from a metal grid below the existing ceiling that is already in place. It is commonly used with noise-regulating acoustic ceiling tiles. It is also a flat drop ceiling which allows designers to conceal mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and lighting fixtures above the dropped, exposed ceiling such as pipes and wiring. This type of ceiling is commonly used in commercial buildings, offices and retail spaces since they give designers flexibility.

3. coffered ceiling

This type of ceiling is commonly found in high end homes, churches, libraries and hotels. They reflect a a classic, luxurious and aesthetic environment.

4. Tray ceiling/ panned ceiling

These are multi-level ceilings, they start from one height, then drop as more levels are added. As the name suggests, the layout resembles a tray. Tray ceilings are designed in a way that each step or level added is slightly lower than the center which is raised. They tend to create 3-dimensional effect as the ceiling expands outwards. This type of ceiling can add a dramatic effect to a space and also makes a room seem taller. Note that panned ceilings typically have two to three levels/steps, with each level dropping between 5 to 11 inches below the level above it. When considering a tray ceiling, make sure that the ceiling height is at least 8feet tall, since dropped boarders that go below this height may make a space look more tight

6. Beam ceiling

This type of ceiling is typically found in hallways and corridors for commercial settings, living and dining rooms for residential settings. Beam ceilings are primarily made from hardwood or Douglas fir. This type of ceiling really gives your home a classic and rustic look

7. Shed ceiling

Shed/single slope ceilings are typically found on the top story of a home; either in the attic or loft. They create a distinct look for your room if constructed perfectly

8. Cathedral ceilings

These types of ceilings are mostly found in large living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, and even the master bath. Also referred to as vaulted ceilings. They are known for their inverted V-shape where the tip of the V is the highest point and sides of the V slopes down. These high ceilings are made from a variety of materials; but according to our research and experience, linear wood is the best option to use, whether planks or panels fastened either continuously or progressively
